At Plastivision India 2017, Taiwan-based Polystar had its largest exhibition in India ever, with live demonstration of two recycling lines at its booth.
One of Polystar's highlights is Repro-One, a one-step recycling machine with a heavy duty single-shaft shredder that is directly connected with the extruder pelletizer.
The plastic recycling machine is ideal for PP raffia/PP non-woven manufacturer who process their rejected raffia waste (tapes, fabric, jumbo big bags, lumps) generated from in-house production.
The recycled pellets can be put directly back into tape extrusion lines for immediate reprocessing. These recycled pellets can be loaded in high percentages and still produce superior fabric with good tensile strength and elongation, according to Polystar. This eliminates the need of pre-cutting/pre-shredding large-sized, thick or bulky waste.
Another exhibit, Repro Air, is a compact air-cooling film recycling machine specially designed for blown film and cast film producers. The model can effectively recycle HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE film scraps (mono and multi-layer), start-up or changeover film rolls (film-on-roll), edge-trim waste, T-shirt bag bundles (cut- offs) from in-house production. Lightly-printed film can also be recycled into high quality, uniformed pellets.
This air-cooled recycling line does not require any water consumption and can fit right next to or in between blown film machines. The pellets produced by the hot die face pelletizer are 100% dry and can be put directly back into the production line for immediate reprocessing.
The company has sold more than 25 sets of recycling machinery in India. The applications involve mainly the packaging film industry, including PP Raffia/Woven bag/FIBC jumbo bag/ Non-Woven bag/Cement bag / Pipe and bottles waste material processing.
