Blown film machine installed in Mexico

Polystar (Taiwan) installed two more sets of HDPE and LDPE blown film machines in Mexico in July. Both companies are producers of flexible packaging products that specialize in making film rolls and bags.
Since the usage of recycled material and CaCO3 compound is prevalent in the Mexican market, Polystar has re-designed its screws specifically to work with these type of material in the mixture. The bi-metallic treatment prevents the screw from wearing out fast when running abrasive material.
The extrusion line with longer screw L/D produces film of higher resistance in addition to having a good mixing and film quality.
